Purchasing Assistant
We are thrilled to be working with a rapidly growing company in Hoddesdon who are actively seeking a Purchasing Assistant to support the business.
A fast-paced role where no day is the same, we’re looking for someone who enjoys speaking with both customers and suppliers, to join this busy company.
This role requires a high standard of customer service for our clients and a positive approach to supporting the entire team with high levels of accuracy.
Although having purchasing experience is desirable, it isn’t essential, and we’re able to consider a customer service background here.

Key Duties include:
- Monitor stock levels and identifying any purchasing needs for the business.
- Researching potential vendors and obtaining pricing for non-stock items.
- Raise purchase orders for both stock and non-stock items.
- Assisting with the goods-in process, and working alongside the warehouse team ensuring they are aware of what is coming into the warehouse and when.
- Working with supplies to confirm orders and chase any deliveries where needed.
Monday- Friday 8:30am-5:30pm (office based)
Location: Hoddesdon
Salary: £23,000 - £25,000
