HR Operations Manager

This rapidly scaling SME is undergoing an exciting period of change and has created this brand new opportunity to help modernise, systemise and automate them in their quest to be efficient, robust but also user friendly as an HR team as they grow.

An operational role in all senses practically, we are also very much seeking someone who can plan strategically as there is so much that is to be created; so much exciting new process and structure to deliver. This will absolutely be a role for someone who has worked within a lead HR Operations function before, and in an ideal world, someone who has been involved in setting one up, including implementation of new systems to boot!

It is however, a role that also provides an opportunity, in that the client is willing to consider someone who is stepping up to this level, assuming that the practical ability and knowledge is there. Reporting directly into a newly appointed CPO, the successful applicant will have the platform to bring ideas and energy, leading a small team (which will unquestionably grow over time) and generally having the autonomy to run the day to day function.

The devil is in the detail with this role and the candidate we seek – data, compliance and rock solid policy and process will all be led (and in some cases created) by this person so it’s a cracking role to make your mark.

Key duties will include:

  • Ownership of the day to day practical leadership of all HR Operations functions.
  • Leadership of the new HRIS implementation, partnering the CPO (HiBob experience would be ideal!).
  • Leadership of the front line data, compliance and onboarding operations, devising new strategy and process in a rapidly scaling situation.
  • Partnering with key stakeholders internally to forge relationships and influence the benefits of process and systems evolution in a transformation/change management piece.
  • Interaction internationally, where knowledge of European people data management experience would be useful.

A systems savvy and naturally curious and inquisitive operator, a market leading opportunity is on offer alongside the professional opportunity to join an organisation that is seeking to shift the dial within it’s industry on all things EDI, culture and engagement – certainly an exciting time to join given the impressive growth plans of the business!
