HR Advisor
This market leading organisation is actively seeking an experienced HR Advisor & Generalist to join their exciting establishment in a fast paced but relationship driven HR team in a role that’s available due to growth.
Outstanding benefits are on offer to the successful candidate and while the majority of the role will sit on site, 5 days per week, the reasons for that are fair, and the package on offer is widely considered to be market leading and unique.
The role is based on an incredible and interesting site, and is a role that could either provide a launchpad for your next step towards a commercial/management role in HR – or alternatively exist as a fantastic and engaging role for an experienced local candidate.
In a busy organisation, focused on excellence, the establishment has always relished an HR team that’s focused around relationships and great customer service, through partnering and advice, rather than purely admin and policy.
Reporting directly into the HR Manager as their natural ‘number 2’, the role will be varied and require the candidate be highly proactive, flexible and to ‘roll their sleeves up’, ideally with experience of working in a small team environment.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Acting as a point of contact to managers and colleagues by providing generalist support and advisory services in relation to any queries, policies and points of employment law.
- Leading on employee relations case work.
- Ensuring data held on HR systems are accurate and up to date.
- Providing timely HR reports and responding to ad hoc data requests.
- Supporting all employee life-cycle activities including recruitment projects, on boarding, training, pay reviews and leavers process.
- Supporting key business wide HR projects.
A superb opportunity to take responsibility under an accomplished, impressive, but lovely HR leader, there will undoubtedly be chances to develop here over time, and it is character and drive that they are looking for rather than simply words on pages – previous industry experience isn’t relevant at all here.
Attention to detail and a real flair for written & spoken communication are important, it’s an environment that is driven by detail and compliance, so being able to demonstrate that you bring those elements will be key.
