Health & Safety Administrator

We are recruiting for a well established construction company based in Potters bar who are looking for a Health & safety administrator to join team.


The role will report to the H&S Manager and be a great opportunity for someone to learn and develop under her guidance.


The role is 5 days a week in the office with hours of 9am to 6pm.


Main responsibilities:

  • Responsible for setting out clear guide lines for H&S procedures to new recruits
  • Responsible for the maintaining the training matrix for construction staff in the field.
  • Responsible for writing risk reports and SOP’s
  • Responsible for the administration of environmental waste (clinical, non clinical and general waste)
  • Management of Help Desk and Administration Teams.
  • Team on boarding program, including all training for Food Safety, Health and Safety, COSHH, Manual Handling and Risk Assessment.
  • Appraisals, Mid Term Reviews, Probation Reviews.
  • HR Functions, note taking, minute taking, investigation, disciplinary and appeals processes. Return to work interviews, Health and Safety briefings.
  • Processing weekly Payroll.
  • Internal Audits and External Audits, and HACCP Management.
  • Assisting General Manager with site visits from Clients and internal colleagues.

Location: Potters Bar
Salary: £25,000 - 30,000 per annum
