We’re retained in partnership with this innovative and growth focused business in the professional services/research sector, currently searching for their new HR No1 to both lead the team operationally, and the business strategically into their next phase of development.
Given the size and scope of the business – this is a role for an HR leader who thrives on both the “hands on” detail and delivery, and the strategic business partnering that such an acquisitional organisation is crying out for. An all rounder you must be, with a desire to stay that way, but operating extremely closely with the Exec, you will work with the business to develop the People Plan in both the present and the future.
Leading a strong team that’s already in situ across a highly successful group, the business has both a nationwide and international footprint and travel to other sites in the UK will be required – maintaining the strong agenda of engagement with the business in the process. Given the nature of the sector, it is also a business which operates on site for 5 days per week.
M&A activity is strong here, so previous experience of this from an HR perspective would be ideal and this very much guides the need for a highly commercial operator across ideally a Group structure, but there are also a lot of quick practical wins with which the successful applicant could really make their mark.
Location: Cambridge
Salary: £100,000-£130,000
