Finance Operations Manager

This role is based in the office 5 days a week – newly refurbished and superb offices.

 

Are you an experienced Finance Operations Manager and used to dealing with a high volume of complex and ever developing transactions?

 

Are you confident being a bridge between finance, sales and the wider business to ensure compliance and efficient business process?

 

Tasks and responsibilities

 

•  Partnering with Group FC on process development and compliance/controls within ERP transaction processing
•  Support on business projects including all ERP system development & integrations
•  Determine if a new strategy affects existing processes and what the impact to business transactions will be
•  Drive automation, process improvements and international harmonisation
•  Direct three international subsidiaries on ERP TP processing maintaining alignment of processes
•  Managing the Transactional Finance team, currently a team of three plus outsourced accounting for marketplaces
•  Month end and general ledger management; ensuring compliance with Group accounting policy, resolving issues and discrepancies in financial records
•  Assist with yearend close and delivery of clean audit position for UK entity
• Liaising with accountants, auditors and tax advisors
• Resolving accounts related queries raised by management
• Ad-hoc office management duties

 

There will be various crucial immediate projects to get stuck into, alongside larger long term future projects.

 

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:

 

Experienced with high volume transactions
Understanding of end to end P2P /O2C processes through ERP and accounting systems in accordance with defined processes
Prior experience with process and system improvements to support long-term financial objectives.
Experience of managing people

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000
