Finance Manager

We are excited to be partnering with an established SME to recruit a Finance Manager in Welwyn Garden City.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional with a proven track record to join a well-established business and really make the role your own.

 

The role will involve managing a small team and taking responsibility for the whole finance function, so it would suit someone who enjoys ownership, variety and the opportunity to add real value.

 

We are happy to consider ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified or QBE candidates with strong all-round finance experience.

 

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting
• Ownership of month-end and year-end processes • Budget preparation and financial forecasting
• Monitoring financial performance and supporting planning processes
• Providing financial insight and analysis to support business decision making Maintaining strong financial controls and compliance Compliance & External Relationships
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns
• Liaison with external auditors and advisors
• Oversight of banking relationships and payments
• Management of foreign currency transactions and FX payments Finance Operations
• Process and reconcile payroll, including year-end requirements such as P60s and P11Ds
• Monitoring credit control and bad/doubtful debt
• Managing company cashflow and working capital • Oversight of expenses and related VAT reclaim
• Ensuring accurate financial data and robust accounting processes

 

Location: Welwyn Garden City
Salary: £60,000-£70,000
