Finance Manager
**Both full and part time options can be considered for this role**
This role will report to the Group Finance Director and be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day finance function for the Group.
You will ideally have experience of preparing consolidated management reports alongside a strong understanding of internal controls.
You will also ideally have experience with implementing change and coaching/training others.
Key duties:
- Review of month end processes, and preparation of month end reporting
- Preparation of the month end reporting for budget holders, the Board and for the bank.
- This will include analysis on the performance of the business, commentary on key issues and consolidation of Group results.
- Monitoring and Forecasting of cash flow for the Group
- Review of working capital movements.
- Co-ordination and preparation for budgets and half year forecasts.
- Main contact for the year end audit, including preparation of the required analysis and deliverables.
- Analysis and input for insurance renewals.
- Ensure sufficient balance sheet reconciliations and reviews are completed.
- Cover and support for other team members.
- Process improvements, such as implementation of a BACs process, automation of invoicing, assistance with upgrading the ERP system.
Skills Required
- Communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Good knowledge of accounting, including consolidations and currency
- Excellent organisational skills, ability to work under pressure and to multitask.
- Team working skills and experience of training other finance team members.
- Attention to detail.
- Commercial awareness
- Good knowledge of excel.
Qualifications
- Ideally fully qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA
- QBE and part-qualified options also considered where relevant.
Location: Duxford
Salary: £45,000 - £56,000
