Business Development Executive

This market leading organisation is seeking a new Business Development Executive to join their exciting, fast paced and expanding business where undoubtedly this role will kickstart or enhance a career for you in the realm of Sales.

 

This role is based in an amazing open planned, vibrant, and modern space in the heart of Watford, with parking on site and easy access public transport links.

 

In a buzzing and busy environment, you will drive the success of Sales through lead generation and strategically drive business development.

 

The role is varied and will require you to be a confident, driven, and motivated individual with a true hunger for success.

 

Our client fully invests into their employees offering a full training programme which includes an introduction to the business and their partners. You will be trained by the best in the business, both internally and externally. With specialists in their field!

 

Key responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Unveiling new business for yourself and the company, converting them into long-lasting relationships.
  • Utilising your social media platforms (I, e,. Premium LinkedIn accounts) to grow and build your network.
  • Picking up the phone and speaking with people
  • Relationship building and account management.
  • All of your accounts that you win are yours! As your desk grows over time your focus will eventually shift into an account and relationship management role.
  • You are completely responsible for negotiating and purchasing with manufacturers and suppliers.

 

Skills we are looking for:

  • No prior knowledge in the industry needed.
  • Uphold strong communication skills and able to interact with people.
  • Well-presented and confident.
  • Ability to hit the ground running, to be confident in picking up the phones to uncover new business!

Location: Watford
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 plus commission
