Administrator – 12 month FTC

Our client is a well-established business who are looking for an Office Administrator to join their business initially on a 9-12 month contract, with the potential of longer term opportunities.

 

The client is looking for an all round and adaptable person who is ‘hands on’, has strong system skills and ability to pick things up quickly.

 

The role will include aspect of purchasing, sales, customer service and project management. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel is required.

 

Responsibilities:

  • General Admin
  • Support the business with general admin tasks including ordering stationery, printing, organising events & meetings
  • Being the first point of contact for visitors
  • Using system to create new projects, assign tasks and project management
  • Having a customer focussed attitude to ensure customers are kept up to date regarding their project
  • Producing sales documents including order confirmations, purchase orders, packing lists and customer invoices
  • Arrange all aspects of international shipping. Would be advantageous to have knowledge of incoterms
  • Managing inbound and outbound stock movements, and helping with quarterly stock takes
  • Liaising with service engineers to coordinate their schedule, shipments and job completion documents.

 

The role will require the right person to have access to a car and full driving licence and be available either immediately or on short notice.


Location: Royston
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
