Accounts Assistant Part-time
Our client is currently restructuring the business and needs extra support in the small finance team for an initial 6 month period.
The ideal candidate will have all around accounts experience and have a ‘handson’ attitude. It could suit a parent returning to work.
Duties will include:
- Purchase Ledger: Posting of purchase ledger invoices, including coding and authorisation.
- Resolving queries in an efficient manner
- Bank reconciliations
- Cash-book
- Document scanning of all invoices onto the system.
- Sales Ledger: Raise sales invoices on a daily basis.
- Credit Control: Assist in chasing of debt and reconciling accounts.
- Assist with any other ad-hoc duties as required.
Other key elements will include the ability to pick up and learn new systems quickly.
You will also need experience of using excel and other office-based functions.
Initially 6 month contract.
25 hours per week
Hybrid available.
Location: Waltham Cross
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 pro rata
