One of the biggest talent retention questions you could ask yourself right now:

Look at your business honestly and ask,

“Is our business taking responsibility itself, for the success of its employees?”

If the answer to that is a resounding “no” then you’re probably still stuck in the dark ages, not enabling or setting anyone up for success,

 

Expecting the world from employees, with leaders in your business who have the attitude that “they should be giving their all, progressing themselves as they progress us and all because we pay them.”

 

And guess what, you’ve probably got higher turnover than you’d like right?

 

The talent world has changed and whatever your opinion is about the attitude of employees, generationally or otherwise, you have to accept that.

 

Enabling success, development and hard work is down to you and your organisation.

 

Because those are the organisations that the best applicants want to work for and the best employees want to stay at.
