Finance Analyst (FP&A team)

StormX Recruitment are supporting the hire of a Finance Analyst into a dynamic finance team based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire.

 

This is a high-impact role within a fast-paced environment, where you’ll support the FP&A Manager and work closely with site teams and senior stakeholders.

 

You’ll play a key role in improving reporting, driving insight, and influencing decision-making across this site.

 

• Act as a key member of the FP&A team and deputise for the FP&A Manager when required
• Deliver accurate, insightful financial data to support decision making
• Partner with operational teams to improve performance and reporting
• Drive continuous improvement across reporting, systems, and processes

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Reporting & Analysis

• Analyse variances vs forecast and identify true performance drivers
• Product cost analysis, including claims/rejections and reconciliations
• Support Cost of Sales reporting during month-end
• Enhance BI reporting and support stakeholders with data insights

 

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting across all areas of production.

 

Projects

• Support FP&A Manager on ad-hoc projects and continuous improvement initiatives

 

Stakeholder Exposure

• FP&A Manager

• Site Business Partners
• Wider FP&A team

 

About You

• Part-qualified (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) or QBE
• Experience in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
• Confident communicator, able to influence at all levels
• A core grounding in accountancy and finance.
