ER Advisor

This market leading organisation is actively seeking an experienced HR/ER Advisor to join their exciting and dynamic business in a fast paced and high volume sector, at a truly exciting time for the business.

This role will include a good proportion of field based work, so we’re seeking a candidate who has a full driving license (with a car or allowance applicable to the package), for a role that’ll enable them to have freedom, building relationships across a dynamic multi site business.

The role is primarily based on an incredible and interesting site just outside of London, and is unquestionably a role that could provide a launchpad for a commercial career in HR – typically a role of this nature would suggest a future in Business Partnering. In a busy and change driven organisation, the entire company is undertaking an HR restructure that this candidate will be heavily involved in helping to deliver at a site level.

It’ll be a flat structured team, and one that will see this person exposed to some highly experienced and impressive HR leaders so those who want to progress will be given every opportunity here.

Given the nature of the environment, we require the candidate be highly proactive, flexible and to ‘roll their sleeves up’, ideally with experience of working in a small team environment. A real passion for ER is also a pre-requisite given the volume nature of the advisory piece.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the point of contact for managers and colleagues by providing ER support and advisory services in relation to any queries, policies and basic points of employment law.
  • Coach and support Managers to build confidence in handling ER matters as a first port of call.
  • Providing timely HR reports and responding to ad hoc data requests, spotting trends that ID opportunities for change.
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with Line Managers across all levels of seniority.
  • Supporting key business wide HR projects.

The role is a great opportunity for an ambitious candidate to gain experience and exposure to a company that is experiencing some exciting change, alongside the important career oriented involvement in the project work that’s likely to come with this.
