Logistics Administrator
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is keen to build their office-based career with a growing business. You will develop and gain experience of working in a busy office environment – specifically with a focus on logistics.
The ideal candidate will be resourceful, methodical, and an effective problem solver. Strong multitasking skills and the ability to manage complex schedules are essential for succeeding in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Issue and oversee logistical instructions for EU → UK imports
- Manage stock control activities
- Implement and monitor administrative programmes as directed by management
- Produce memos, emails and reports when required
- Maintain strong working relationships with clients and service suppliers
- Handle queries and requests for information
- Answer incoming calls and provide general office support when needed
Skills Required
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel
- Ability to analyse and refine operational processes to boost efficiency
- Strong attention to detail and confidence working in a fast-paced office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Commitment to completing tasks accurately and on time
Ideal Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain.
- Understanding of shipping, receiving and materials-handling processes
- GCSE or equivalent (required)
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
- English language proficiency (required)
- Must have the right to work in the UK
Location: Little Hadham
Salary: £24,000 - £25,000
