Finance Manager

Reporting into the Finance Director, the key aspects of this role will involves overseeing a group reporting function, preparation of month end reporting and management of small team.

 

The company are well established with

  • Month end reporting.
  • Analysis of group performance, including commentary and consolidations.
  • Cash flow forecasting.
  • Preparation for budgets
  • Half yearly forecasting.
  • Key contact for the year end audit.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and reviews.
  • Support, cover and train other team members.
  • Various projects around system upgrades and process improvements.

 

Skills Needed

  • Communication skills
  • Good knowledge of accounting, including consolidations and currency
  • Excellent organisational skills, ability to work under pressure and to multitask
  • Team working skills and experience of training other finance team members
  • Attention to detail
  • Commercial awareness
  • Good knowledge of excel

 

Experience needed

  • Experience preparing consolidated management reports.
  • Understanding of internal controls.
  • Experience with coaching/training others.

Location: Royston
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000
