Our client based in Buntingford are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their finance team in a newly created role.

The new role reporting to the Financial Controller will be an exciting opportunity for a person who is looking to move into management accounts in the near future, alongside studying toward their CIMA or ACCA studies.

The right candidate will be happy to work 5 days a week in the head office based in Buntingford and have at least 3 years experience working within finance.

The main duties will include:

• Assisting with Monthly management Account
• Updating journals
• Overhead prepayments/accruals
• Fixed Asset Register
• Gross Profit Analysis
• Purchase Invoices
• Sales Invoices
• Bank reconciliation
• Intercompany reconciliations
