Junior Project Manager
We are supporting this ever growing trusted partner business, who are looking for a new Junior Project Manager to join their business critical, project planning and delivery team.
An exciting, unique and niche industry, this role will see you involved right at the coalface of the execution piece of what is a market leading company – very few projects aren’t completely unique in their own right and as such, this role will give you the chance to be creative on almost every single one.
Reporting to the Managing Director but working closely with experienced Project Managers and industry veterans, you will over time develop to be responsible for all aspects of a project from inception to completion. Working with many of the key Clients to the business, you will be expected to perform various tasks including co-ordinating internal and external resources, advising and communicating with the client on the most suitable solution, taking budget and time constraints into consideration.
Travel may be required for some meetings, site visits and projects and hence a full UK driving licence would be beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing appointed projects from concept through to completion, including equipment, tooling, crew and logistic requirements
- Quoting, calculating and specifying projects from the client’s initial brief
- Consideration of all operational costs, working to budgets and timescales
- Take ownership of the delivery phase of projects, ensuring their successful delivery for the client through to completion
- Customer relationship management – including management of key accounts
To be considered you will already have gained some project management experience and although this need not necessarily be within a specific industry sector, knowledge of projects where logistics and practical events/installations are concerned would be preferred.
You should also be savvy with Health & Safety regulations and be a proven relationship builder both internally and externally.
This truly is a unique opportunity – development, training and progression are all on offer in a business with a notoriously and successfully flat structure.
