Our client is a well established and growing business based outside Royston who are looking for an Service Engineer join its team who maintain and repair equipment and systems across the UK, Europe and overseas.

The candidate will have a technical electrical/electronic background with a very good aptitude for mechanical engineering and must be competent to work with 3-phase and high voltage/current.

• Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the system.
• Evaluate systems and make recommendations for improvements and solutions.
• Carry out preventative maintenance on customer sites in line with recommended procedures.
• Talk with customers and understand their needs, communicating the requirements and timeline for their system plan.
• Work with a team to ensure projects are completed effectively and efficiently.
• Travel around the UK and overseas to install and maintain industrial testing equipment, sometimes on short notice.
• On occasions be prepared to work in excess of the normal 37.5 hour week or anti-social hours whilst observing contractual obligations.
• Be familiar with all Health and Safety rules and regulations when working.
• Other duties may be assigned as required
